Carnival Corporation announced the completion of an extensive multi-million-dollar upgrade of Cruise Terminal 2 at Port Everglades. Princess Cruises is introducing a new beverage package that places it more in line with other cruise lines, offering more drink options but with a higher price and daily restrictions. The Premier Beverage Package is offered at $59.99 USD per day plus a 15% service charge (totaling $68.99 per day) for all itineraries except Australia. Princess Cruises has redesigned their kids programs onboard their cruise ships. Camp Discovery, as the new program is called, was created in a partnership with the Discovery Channel. Hakeem Oluseyi of Science Channel and Tory Belleci of Discovery Channel’s MythBusters were onboard the Grand Princess in San Francisco to celebrate Princess Cruises’ new Camp Discovery youth and teen centers, conducting an official ribbon cutting.
