Princess Cruises to Build Two NextGen LNG Cruise Ships

Princess Cruises has ordered two ships with Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri S.p.A., on a next-generation platform that will be dual-fuel powered — primarily by Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), the marine industry’s most environmentally friendly advanced fuel technology and the world’s cleanest burning fossil fuel. The announcement follows a growing list of cruise lines planning new cruise ships powered by LNG.
