Carnival Cruise Line is bringing new ships and more cruise options to Galveston, Texas, for its 2027-2028 season. For the first time, Carnival Horizon and Carnival Spirit will be homeported in Galveston, joining the current ships Carnival Breeze and Carnival Jubilee. Carnival Horizon, the newest cruise ship from Carnival Cruise Line, celebrated the official naming ceremony by the ship’s Godmother, Queen Latifah. Carnival Horizon joins the Carnival Cruise Line Fleet

At the Fincantieri shipyard in Italy, Carnival Cruise Line has taken delivery of the 26th ship in their fleet, Carnival Horizon.
