Carnival Cruise Line announced plans to makeover the Carnival Triumph with a $200-Million dry dock, that will transform the 19 year old ship with venues that are found on their most recent cruise ships. At the completion of the dry dock, the ship will be renamed Carnival Sunrise and will be the second ship in Carnival’s Sunshine Class. Princess Cruises to Build Two NextGen LNG Cruise Ships
Princess Cruises has ordered two ships with Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri S.p.A., on a next-generation platform that will be dual-fuel powered — primarily by Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), the marine industry’s most environmentally friendly advanced fuel technology and the world’s cleanest burning fossil fuel.
