Royal Caribbean’s Bold 2027-28 Deployment: The Icon Arrives

Royal Caribbean has unveiled its 2027-2028 cruise schedule, offering 4- to 12-night adventures on nine ships across three major regions. Bookings are open early for Crown & Anchor Society members, with the official general opening scheduled for Thursday, November 13th.

A major focus of the season is maximizing the guest experience at the line’s private destinations: Perfect Day at CocoCay and the new Royal Beach Club Collection (Royal Beach Club Paradise Island opening in December 2025, and Royal Beach Club Cozumel debuting in 2026).

Bold Vacations from Texas (Galveston)

Texas is set to become a powerhouse homeport with three major ships, including the highly anticipated arrival of the Icon class.

Sun-Soaked Adventures from California (Los Angeles)

The West Coast lineup focuses on quick getaways and classic Mexican Riviera journeys.

Scenic Getaways from the Northeast (Cape Liberty & Baltimore)

Cruises from the Northeast offer both warm-weather Caribbean escapes and seasonal Canada/New England voyages.

New Private Destination Details

The new itineraries heavily feature calls at Royal Caribbean’s growing portfolio of signature destinations:

  • Royal Beach Club Paradise Island, The Bahamas: Opening in December 2025. It will be featured on Symphony of the Seas and Oasis of the Seas itineraries.
