Royal Caribbean Announces Legend of the Seas: A New Era of Family Adventure

Royal Caribbean is rolling out its most ambitious family vacation yet with the Legend of the Seas, debuting in July 2026. This groundbreaking ship promises to deliver an unparalleled mix of adventure and relaxation while sailing to top destinations in Europe and the Southern Caribbean.

Michael Bayley, Royal Caribbean’s President and CEO said:

“With Legend of the Seas, we are bringing to life our most legendary vacation yet as we continue to push the boundaries,”

The ship is essentially a destination itself, featuring eight distinct neighborhoods and a lineup of experiences that push the boundaries of cruising.

Unrivaled Dining & Nightlife

The Legend will offer the most dining at sea with 28 different options. Guests can embark on an immersive, multi-course expedition along the ancient Silk Routes at the Royal Railway – Legend Station or step back into the golden age of cinema at the new Hollywoodland Supper Club. Icon Class favorites, like AquaDome Market and specialty restaurants like Chops Grille and Izumi, will also be on board.

  • Jaw-dropping shows will light up the AquaTheater and the largest ice arena at sea, Absolute Zero.
  • Over 20 bars and lounges, including Dueling Pianos and the sophisticated 1400 Lobby Bar, will keep the party going.

  • Pools: The ship features seven distinct pools for every mood, including adult-only areas like The Hideawayinfinity pool and Swim & Tonic swim-up bar.
