Royal Caribbean is making sure the journey to the Royal Beach Club Paradise Island is just as exciting as the destination. Ahead of the beach club’s opening in December 2025, the cruise line is introducing a brand-new fleet of five vibrant water ferries to shuttle guests from ship to shore.
The ferries are designed to offer a bold first impression, blending high efficiency with authentic Bahamian culture. The fleet will transform short-haul transfers with lightweight aluminum hulls and a lively, colorful design that reflects the tropical spirit of the region.
Philip Simon, President of Royal Caribbean Group Bahamas stated:
“We are committed to delivering an exceptional, sustainable, and authentically Bahamian experience for our guests,”
“These new vessels exemplify our dedication to operational excellence and innovation, seamlessly connecting visitors with the natural beauty and lively culture of The Bahamas from ship to shore.”
Operated by Bahamian Experts
The entire water ferry operation will be owned and managed by Bahamas Transport Logistics (BTL), a 100% Bahamian-owned company specializing in marine transportation. This partnership underscores Royal Caribbean’s commitment to involving Bahamians in all facets of the project, ensuring the highest standards of safety and operational excellence are maintained by experienced local professionals.
