Carnival Cruise Line is upping the fun for its New Orleans sailings! The Carnival Liberty has just returned to service after a comprehensive dry dock, loaded with new features. It joins the Carnival Valor, which also recently completed similar enhancements.

Among the exciting additions are the Heroes Tribute Bar & Lounge, honoring military service members, and the WaterWorks aqua park, now with new slides.

Golf enthusiasts will enjoy the new mini-golf course. The ship’s spa has been fully revitalized as a Cloud9 Spa, boasting refreshed décor, upgraded beauty stations, a modernized fitness center, and new steam rooms and saunas. The casino has been expanded with a new layout and more slot machines and table games.

Families will appreciate the upgraded amenities for younger cruisers, including new gaming stations at Camp Ocean and a revamped Arcade and Club O2. Other new features include a Dream Studio for personalized photo sessions, a Carnival Adventures venue for booking shore excursions, and revamped FUN Shops with a new High Spirits liquor store. Crucially, extensive accessibility upgrades were made throughout the ship, from pathways to public spaces and cabins.

Carnival Liberty sails week-long itineraries to The Bahamas and the Western Caribbean, and will make its inaugural visit to Celebration Key on July 23.
